A brief introduction by Terri:

Danny and I are very excited about staying in touch with all of you via this quarterly newsletter, and I'm very happy to have an opportunity to share some of Danny's amazing new messages with you. As most of you know, some of our early conversations were the foundation for our book, A SWAN IN HEAVEN. To my delight, Danny had much more to say after the book was finished, and he continues to communicate with me, so the material you'll be reading in this newsletter is brand new (some of it will appear in our next book). Many people have asked me to describe exactly how my communication with Danny occurs, and I thought this would be a good topic for our first newsletter. Danny gives a detailed explanation in his message below, but I'd like to preface that with my own perspective.

When I first began to channel Danny I made a point of creating quiet, meditative space. I breathed deeply, lit candles and concentrated intensely to establish a connection. But I quickly learned that none of that was necessary, because most of the time he'd come through with very little effort on my part. I say "most of the time" because it can be difficult at times for those of us on earth to receive transmissions from the higher realms, and there are specific reasons for this, but I'll let Danny explain it to you. Suffice to say I now understand that teachers in the non-physical are always present and always wanting to communicate with us. The trick can be summed up in one word... trust. The more I believe in this process, the more effective and natural the process becomes, and I am now absolutely certain that this is the true meaning of faith.

Danny Speaks:

Communication from the higher realms (which we are calling Heaven) is always present, always “on” and always broadcasting. These communications can be received by anyone who seeks them -- when the mind is open, calm and clear -- and you will always receive the exact information you need at any given time. It’s like going to a library and choosing a book, or turning on the TV and selecting a program. Many who've read our book and those who are skilled in interdimensional work understand how certain emotions, such as anger, blame and a belief in powerlessness can inhibit these communications. This is because those feelings instill a belief in separateness… a sense that you are not connected to the teachers who love you and guide you, and to the Source; the Mother, Father, God force. When you live with a belief in this type of un-connectedness, it is difficult to receive the loving guidance of your teachers, which includes your loved ones on the Other Side.

Some people ask, “Why do people who’ve never received these communications before suddenly hear or see loved ones who have died?”

It is because grief can open the heart, especially if the grief is processed with spiritual awareness. One who harbors anger at God and at the world for “taking” a loved one unfairly would be less likely to receive such a communication, though the communication is still being sent. In fact, the angels and guides work very hard to send healing to the grieving in an attempt to redirect the mind toward wisdom, light, acceptance and ultimately, gratitude. Depending on the state of mind of the receiver, such a communication may or may not be heeded. As you know, these communications often come in symbolic forms, not through literal hearing or seeing, but through dreams, visions and so-called “coincidences.” It is never a coincidence when a certain book comes into your possession at a certain time, or when you run into an old friend “accidentally.” The story of your friend whose late father was a WW2 fighter pilot illustrates this perfectly. She was thinking of him on his birthday and looked into the sky just in time to see a vintage airplane fly over on its way to a nearby air show. She thought this was a coincidence, but it most certainly was not! These are the forms in which Spirit communicates with the earth realm. For people who wish to tune in to transmissions from loved ones, guides, angels, God and the higher self, it is first necessary to practice recognizing these alleged coincidences as actual messages.

The impressions I send to you are already “out there,” waiting for you to pick them up. It’s similar to how your fax machine works. You dial a number to send the image of a page. The image is “impressed” digitally, and then it "sends" a few moments afterwards, because the image is stored for transmission later. The messages I send to you are like that. Heaven is broadcasting all the time, but because time is not linear, the messages aren't lined up like airplanes on a taxiway waiting for clearance. They occupy the same space at the same time, and there's limitless room for all of them. The broadcasts are there for the taking, like a giant repository of information, and you can receive them whenever you choose to. It's like searching for information on the internet or turning on a television. The signals are being sent all the time, the information is there, but in order to receive it you have to literally "turn on" the receiving mechanism.

The messages I send are always there, kind of hanging in space, and they’re all being broadcast simultaneously, just like television or radio channels. You receive the ones you ask for, the ones you’re ready for, and you can tap in whenever you choose. Whatever you need to receive will gently filter down into your awareness. That’s what we mean when we say we are always here for you... angels, guides, members of your soul groups, your higher self, the energy of God, all of it. You said it yourself the other night while you were teaching... it doesn’t make sense that humans intended to come to earth and be disconnected from home, abandoned and alone. You are most definitely not alone!
